Preferred Seating Designs Partners with Preferred Seating Co.

In a recession when businesses need to network more than ever to generate business opportunities, Preferred Seating Designs LLC has joined with Preferred Seating Co creating a unique partnership. The partnership will create design build projects for performing arts centers, schools and stadiums, supplying these venues with bleachers, theater seating and stadium seats.

Indianapolis, Indiana, December 30th, 2009 – In an agreement that will produce needed design and engineering services Preferred Seating Designs, LLC, has entered into a partnership with Preferred Seating Co. This partnership will promote the sales of U.S.manufactured bleachers and theater seating. Newly designed stadium seats and theater seating are available for seating venues.

Preferred Seating Designs will handle the design build portion, with Preferred Seating Co bringing in potential customers.

The partnership has begun with the promotion of two new stadium seats, the Tuf Seat and the Arena Seat. The Tuf seat is for tight budgets at a time when entertainment venues and schools are concerned about spectator turnout and revenues. The Arena Seat is designed as an economic alternative for ampitheaters and large stadium venues that have limited budgets but must sit large numbers of patrons. With U.S. manufacturers competing in a global market, supplying U.S. customers with reduced pricing keeps much needed revenue here at home.

Fixed theater seating designs in Europe vary from U.S. styles which are more traditional. Many upscale designs, such as the new Summit auditorium seat, retain strength, comfort and durability with ergonomic styles using the most advanced building materials.

Venues that require upscale state of the art seat designs are performing art centers and specialized task oriented seating areas. Traditional seating venues usually include cinemas, school auditoriums, lecture halls and service areas. Courthouses regularly require fixed individual type seating as well as arena and larger spectator areas.

The new Encore auditorium seat manufactured by Ohio Seating is meeting the need for seating with a tighter envelop to afford more leg room and back to back spacing. Fold up compact theater seats allow more space for increased traffic flow through the aisles and increase seating capacity.
