== HISTORY ==
Preferred Seating Inc. began as Preferred Engineering. Preferred Engineering had an extensive background in automotive design and custom product manufacturing. It's clients of many years were major automotive and seating manufacturers.
The marketing group Preferred Seating Co. Inc. was incorporated in Indiana, January 2006. This company has 30 years experience in marketing and installing theater and arena seating in the United States.

Preferred Seating Inc. has invested over $2,000,000 in updated factory and state-of-the-art machinery. Their product design and machining consists of computer assisted design (CAD) and computer assisted manufacturing (CAM). Machines and equipment consists of the following:

== COMPANY GOALS ==
The initial goal of the two Preferred Seating companies was to develop and market the first stadium seating made out of "no break plastic". By combining the 22 years of automotive design and plastics experience with the design facets of the seating industry, Preferred Seating developed the first "no break" plastic stadium seat manufactured with automotive polypropylene specifications with an IZOD of 15. Theater seating has also been developed using this new technology.
== CORPORATE RESTRUCTURING ==
In 2008 Preferred Seating Co. Inc. has combined its resources with engineers, architects and seating manufacturers to offer turnkey design, layout and installation services. With the development of new seating designs in theater seating, bleachers and arena chairs, expansion is being made into all facets of the seating industry.
